As a Senior Consultant with two decades of experience, Dr Wedi provides the highest level of patient-centred care. As the only male Obstetrician in town, he is committed to offering compassionate high-quality care for all women.

Antenatal care:
Dr Wedi offers a range of options for your pregnancy journey, from single, no-commitment consultation to ongoing comprehensive pregnancy care. Please call us to discuss your options. Our team will work closely with you to ensure a healthy pregnancy and a safe delivery. Dr Wedi is experienced and passionate about the prevention of pre-term birth and recurrent miscarriage.

Birth:

Babies are born at St Andrew's Ipswich Private Hospital. We will already know your birth plan and preferences antenatally so the team will be prepared and ready to support you.

After-birth care:
In addition to your midwife’s care, you will have a 6-week postnatal check with Dr Wedi. He is great at preventing recognising and managing all postnatal complications.

Gynecology:
Dr Wedi provides a full range of gynaecology services, including routine consultations, and treatment for conditions such as period problems, endometriosis, and pelvic organ prolapse.

Colposcopy and
Cervical Screening:
Dr Wedi is passionate about preventing gynaecological cancer. He has completed a PhD in this area and is an expert in the field of colposcopy.

Post-Menopausal Health:
Dr Wedi offers specialised care for women with all types of menopausal symptoms. He is committed to helping women navigate this important stage of life with comfort and confidence.
